the Demo This page offers the RelCalc for Windows V5.0-BELL7 Demo Package as a file that you can download for free. Note that the Demo is available in separate versions for MIL-HDBK-217 (V5.0-217F2), or the Telcordia (Bellcore) Reliability Prediction Procedure (V5.0-BELL7). The Demo version is virtually identical to the full RelCalc for Windows software program, and allows you to interactively try every function of RelCalc. The Demo Notes provide a step by step demo/tutorial of the RelCalc program; in about an hour you not only discover the ease of reliability prediction with RelCalc for Windows, but you have become an expert on the program, and you're ready to get right to work when you buy the full version! Personal Engineering and Instrumentation News magazine reviewed our Demo Package a few years ago, and had this to say: "Demo packages should always be this complete, informative and easy to use. ... Even if you've never done this type of analysis before, this demo shows you what's involved in an easy-to-follow fashion. ... In summary, the RelCalc demo is very informative and easy to use. Note on File Downloads When you click the file link to download the file, please be sure to use your browser's Save To Disk download mode. V5.0-BELL7 Demo: BELLDEMO.EXE (Build 2007.8245, 7588 KB) Download: BELLDEMO.EXE The BELLDEMO.EXE file is a setup program file containing the V5.0-BELL7 Demo Package. For details on Windows Vista compatibility, please see RelCalc and Windows Vista. Installation 1) Download the BELLDEMO.EXE file to any hard disk directory. 2) Run BELLDEMO.EXE from this directory to install the software. Note: If you are installing on a machine running Windows 2000/XP/Vista, and you have not previously installed the RelCalc PDF printer driver on this machine, then we recommend that you log on with a user account that has Administrator Rights before running the BELLDEMO.EXE setup program. Getting Started After the software is installed, please see the README.TXT file (in the directory you install to) for details on printing out the Demo Notes, which can step you through a full tutorial of the program.
